Elizabeth Winick
Elizabeth Winick, senior agent at McIntosh & Otis, has degrees from
New York University and Manhattan School of Music. She began her book
publishing career in subsidiary rights and then took on the
responsibilities of acquisitions editor at a major audio publishing
imprint. Initially, she joined McIntosh & Otis to manage all
subsidiary rights but began working as an agent shortly thereafter. Her
primary interests include literary fiction, women's fiction, historical
fiction, and mystery/suspense, along with narrative non-fiction,
spiritual/self-help, history and current affairs. Elizabeth represents
numerous New York Times bestsellers, and both Agatha and Edgar Award
winners and nominees. |

Edward Necarsulmer IV
Born and raised in New York, Edward earned a BA in Philosophy
from Denison University. After a stint on the floor of the New
York Stock Exchange, he began his career in publishing as an
intern at Random House Books for Young Readers. Edward then
moved to the agency side, working briefly at Sterling Lord Literistic
before becoming an assistant agent at Curtis Brown, Ltd. In
2004, Edward became the Director of the Children’s Department
at McIntosh & Otis, Inc. where he now represents a diverse
list of Newbery and Caldecott Award winners, as well as some
of the most promising new talent in the field. |

Rebecca Strauss
Prior to joining McIntosh & Otis, Inc., Rebecca Strauss worked for
Sony Pictures as a book scout and development assistant and at Trident
Media Group as a foreign rights assistant. She earned her degree in
English Literature from Duke University. She oversees the sale of
translation and subsidiary rights for
M&O. Rebecca's primary interests are non-fiction,
literary and commercial fiction, women's fiction, memoirs, and pop
culture. |

Ina Winick, Ph.D.
Ina Winick, a psychologist, serves as McIntosh & Otis, Inc.’s
corporate secretary. She also assists in the screening and preparation
of manuscripts for submission. Her interests are psychology,
self-help, and mystery/suspense.

Ian Polonsky
Prior to joining McIntosh and
Otis, Ian worked in the Corporate Marketing Department of Alvarez &
Marsal. He began his career in film at Focus Features and earned
his degree in Visual & Environmental Studies from Harvard
University. Ian is an agent in our Film/TV/Stage/Radio Department
and handles underlying rights for our clients' work.
